Diablo 4 Season 15 Is Adding Stone Of Jordan And Other Iconic Items From Diablo’s Past
Diablo 4’s Season 15 will introduce significant updates following a less-successful Season 14, with Blizzard offering an early preview through a playable public test realm from August 4-11.
The season will bring back iconic items from throughout the Diablo franchise’s history as Unique items, including fan-favorites like the Stone of Jordan and Ring of Royal Grandeur. In total, 10 nostalgic items are being reintroduced, allowing players to experience gameplay with legendary pieces from previous Diablo titles.
More notably, Season 15 will debut a new Character Rebirth feature that fundamentally changes how seasonal progression works. Previously, the flow operated in only one direction—seasonal characters automatically converted to permanent Eternal Realm characters at the end of a season, where they typically languished unused until deletion. The Rebirth system inverts this process, allowing players to convert Eternal Realm characters into seasonal characters and continue playing the same character throughout the season. Characters are reset to level one upon rebirth, requiring players to re-experience the leveling journey with their familiar hero.
These changes represent Blizzard’s response to player feedback, addressing two key pain points: the desire for nostalgic content and the frustration of seasonal discontinuity. The combination of classic items and enhanced character continuity suggests the developer is prioritizing both content variety and player engagement as Season 15 aims to deliver an improved seasonal experience.
