I’ve waited years for these game sequels — and Gamescom 2026 would be the best moment to deliver some Xbox surprises
Gamescom 2026, launching in approximately one month, will showcase major Xbox titles with hands-on demos and exclusive reveals. The event has already confirmed Gears of War: E-Day’s first playable demo and the public premiere of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s ‘Songs of the Past’ DLC expansion. Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance is among the anticipated titles expected to appear. Windows Central reports that Xbox plans to use the event for surprise announcements and new game reveals beyond the confirmed lineup, with the publication curating lists of both expected and hoped-for game appearances.
