Dragon’s Dogma 2 Dark Arisen Adds Hard Mode and 60 FPS Update

Dragon’s Dogma 2 will receive its first major expansion, Dark Arisen, launching this October. The expansion adds a new region and over 25 hours of additional content, including new dungeons for the base game. Director Kento Kinoshita and producer Naoto Oyama revealed these details during a Q&A on the game’s Steam Community page.

A highly requested feature is finally becoming a reality: a hard mode designed to challenge experienced players whose stats have reached or are approaching the level cap. The expansion’s new content will feature greater difficulty overall compared to the base game, ensuring seasoned adventurers have a satisfying challenge ahead of them.

Additionally, the update will introduce a 60 FPS performance improvement, enhancing the gameplay experience across platforms. The expansion represents a significant content offering for the Dragon’s Dogma 2 community, providing considerable replay value and new challenges for veterans seeking fresh experiences in the game.
