Pokemon Go August 2026 Events: Raid Bosses, Spotlight Hours, Pokemon Debuts, And More
August marks the final month of Pokemon Go’s Forever Forward season, with Niantic planning an extensive calendar of events and Pokemon debuts to close out the season. The month will see the arrival of notable new Pokemon, including Gigantamax Rillaboom and Mega Starmie, expanding the roster of available creatures for players.
Throughout August, players can expect a range of seasonal festivities including an Arctic Embers event and a week-long Water Festival, alongside rotating Raid bosses and Spotlight Hours. The event lineup culminates with a special event tied to the 2026 Pokemon World Championships later in the month, providing players with championship-themed activities and rewards.
The concentrated schedule of new content reflects Niantic’s strategy to maintain player engagement during the season’s conclusion before transitioning to the next seasonal content cycle.
