WWE 2K26 Is Free This Weekend For Almost Everyone
To celebrate WWE SummerSlam 2026, the premier annual wrestling event taking place August 1-2 in Minneapolis, WWE and 2K Sports are offering a limited-time free weekend for WWE 2K26. The promotion grants free access to the full game on Xbox Series X|S from July 30 to August 2, with Steam users receiving an extended window until August 3 at 10am PT.
Notably, PlayStation 5 owners are excluded from this promotion and must purchase WWE 2K26 to play it on their platform. While the free weekend aims to drive player engagement coinciding with SummerSlam, certain conditions and requirements still apply to both Xbox and Steam players claiming the free access. The exclusion of PlayStation 5 highlights platform-specific promotional strategies, where publishers coordinate with individual platform holders around major entertainment events.
