Guide: Upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 Games & Accessories For August & September 2026
The Nintendo Switch 2 games release schedule is intensifying heading into the latter half of 2026, with August and September bringing a significant slate of new titles. August is set to feature major releases from Bethesda, Konami, and From Software, while September promises to be even busier with new entries and highly anticipated ports.
Key September releases include a new entry in the Onimusha franchise (Onimusha: Way of the Sword), alongside several long-awaited port releases. The month will also see the launch of two Switch 2 exclusives: Orbitals, a cooperative multiplayer title, and Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave.
Additionally, numerous titles remain scheduled for “TBA 2026,” indicating that the release calendar is still subject to change, with some games potentially shifting into 2027. The latter months of 2026 are shaping up to be particularly strong for Switch 2 owners as the platform continues to build its library with both original titles and re-releases.
