Escape from Tarkov’s 1.1.0 Update Locked In For Tomorrow, August 3rd
Battlestate Games has confirmed that Escape from Tarkov’s highly anticipated 1.1.0 update will launch on August 3rd, introducing the game’s first online season dubbed Kord Breach. The update marks a major milestone for the title, representing the most substantial patch since the game’s 1.0 release in November 2025.
The Kord Breach season will focus on the Black Division faction and introduce a battle pass system that players can progress through to unlock exclusive rewards. Notably, the battle pass will be completely free to access, ensuring all players can participate in the seasonal content without additional costs.
To deploy the update, Battlestate Games will take Escape from Tarkov offline for up to eight hours beginning at 7 AM BST (2 AM EDT) on August 3rd. Players should plan accordingly, as the extended downtime is necessary to implement the significant changes accompanying the update.
