The God of War TV show is recasting Atreus and Thrud
Prime Video’s God of War television adaptation is undergoing additional casting changes for season two, compounding the production’s existing challenges. After Ryan Hurst (Sons of Anarchy) was previously replaced as Kratos due to an injury sustained during season one filming, the studio is now recasting both Atreus and Thrud.
Callum Vinson from Chucky originally took the role of Atreus, while Island Austin from Insidious: Out of the Further was cast as Thrud. According to a report from MP1st, casting calls spotted in May indicate the production is seeking new actors for both characters in the upcoming second season.
