Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Update 1.0.6 Launches Tomorrow — Here Are The Patch Notes
Ubisoft has released update 1.0.6 for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced on August 4, 2026. The patch is available across PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, with varying file sizes: 1.8GB on Steam, 5.03GB on PS5, and 15.2GB on Xbox Series X/S. The update became available at 7am Pacific / 10am Eastern / 3pm UK time.
The primary feature in this update addresses a long-standing community request: the ability to hide Edward Kenway’s blowpipe. Players can now toggle the blowpipe visibility using the “Hide Gear” function via the R2 button, eliminating the weapon’s prominent appearance on the protagonist’s back.
The Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced remake has become hugely popular since launch, already surpassing Ubisoft’s entire yearly sales expectations. Ubisoft has committed to ongoing support for the title, with plans to introduce New Game Plus mode in future updates. While the company continues to support the remake, version 1.0.6 represents incremental refinement rather than a major feature release, reflecting the early stage of the game’s post-launch support cycle.
