Overwatch hero D.Mon revealed in new teaser trailer
D.Mon, the upcoming 53rd hero for Overwatch, has been officially teased by Blizzard Entertainment. The character, whose real name is Yuna Lee, is a member of Korea’s MEKA Squad and shares a similar background with existing hero D.Va—both are former esports professionals turned mech pilots who served in Korea’s Mobile Exo-Force during the conflict against the Gwishin omnics.
D.Mon’s mech is designated “Beast.” The character has already appeared in various Overwatch media, including cinematics, cosmetics, and comics, though this marks her first full reveal as a playable hero. According to former Overwatch writer Michael Chu, D.Mon is characterized as “tough and protective” in personality.
The full hero reveal will take place via a dedicated trailer premiering on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 9 a.m. PDT / 12 p.m. EDT. The trailer will provide players with an extended look at the character’s abilities and backstory. Following the reveal, D.Mon is scheduled to arrive in Overwatch Season 4, bringing her into active gameplay for the live-service shooter.
