Palworld Online is a new MMORPG coming to iOS and Android later this year

Garena has announced Palworld Online, an officially licensed MMORPG spinoff of the hit creature-collecting survival game Palworld, coming to iOS and Android later in 2026. The game was revealed on August 3 following Palworld’s successful 1.0 launch last month.

Developed and published by Garena under a licensing agreement with original developer Pocketpair, Palworld Online is built specifically for mobile and reimagines the “depth, freedom, and scale” of the original PC game for touch devices. Rather than a straight port, it features its own original story and narrative setting, alongside core gameplay elements including creature collection and training, crafting, and base building.

The MMORPG introduces a “seamless, interconnected open world” where players meet in the same multiplayer space to engage in cooperative and competitive gameplay. Features include cooperative PvE missions, player-versus-player combat, and shared base building mechanics. The game also includes streamlined, touch-optimized controls designed specifically for mobile platforms.

No console or PC versions have been announced, keeping Palworld Online exclusive to mobile. Garena, known for developing mobile titles, is working closely with Pocketpair on the project, ensuring alignment with the original game’s vision while adapting it for mobile audiences.

The announcement represents a significant expansion of the Palworld franchise, which has become a major gaming phenomenon since its early access launch. The move to mobile demonstrates publisher confidence in the IP’s cross-platform appeal and follows a common strategy of adapting successful PC and console games for smartphone audiences.
