Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass: All Content & Is It Worth It?
Pokémon Pokopia’s Expansion Pass brings paid downloadable content to the title, continuing the franchise’s recent strategy of releasing DLC expansions. The Expansion Pass features three major content parts released at intervals over the course of a year.
Part 1, titled Bubbly Basin, launched on August 4, 2026, introducing a new town for players to explore. This expansion includes a new Dive skill, which players can use to access previously inaccessible areas. Notably, while Bubbly Basin is exclusive to Expansion Pass holders, the Dive skill is also included in a free content update available to all players.
The Pokémon Company has confirmed that Part 2 and Part 3 will follow, though specific release dates have not been announced. Instead, rough release windows have been provided for future planning. This staggered release approach mirrors DLC strategies used in recent Pokémon generations, including expansions for previous titles and the Mega Dimension addition to Pokémon Legends: Z-A.
