We Got Our First Look at Riftbound’s 2027 Release Lineup
Riot Games revealed its 2027 content roadmap for Riftbound, its League of Legends-themed trading card game, following the launch of the game’s fourth expansion, Vendetta, on July 31. Vendetta marks a milestone as the first Riftbound expansion to achieve simultaneous release across all supported languages.
The publisher’s State of the Game update provided detailed information about upcoming content. A fifth expansion, Radiance, is scheduled for October 23, 2026, before the roadmap shifts into 2027. The year will begin with the sixth set, Legacy, arriving January 29, followed by the seventh set, Reckoning, in April.
Two additional expansions—sets eight and nine—are planned for later in 2027, though specific release dates remain undisclosed. Riot Games did tease the settings and themes for these upcoming expansions, giving players a preview of the creative direction without revealing complete information.
The announcement reflects Riftbound’s established cadence of biannual major updates alongside its regular expansion schedule. With language parity now achieved and a full year of content planned through 2027, Riot Games appears committed to supporting the TCG as a long-term live-service title.
