All Gears of War: E-Day Exclusive Beta Rewards & How to Get Them

Gears of War: E-Day, an upcoming Xbox console exclusive prequel shooter, is kicking off two major multiplayer beta test weekends ahead of its October 6, 2026 launch. The Coalition is using the dual-beta structure to test and refine the multiplayer experience before full release.

The early access beta runs from August 6–10, 2026 (12:00 pm PT to 10:00 am PT) and is available exclusively to players who pre-ordered the game on Xbox Series X|S or Steam, or who have active subscriptions to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass. The second open beta follows from August 13–17, 2026 (same time window) and is available to all players regardless of pre-order status or subscription.

Beta preloads are now live for eligible players, with the download clocking in at just over 62GB on Xbox Series X. The game is also available on PC through Steam and Xbox Game Pass for PC.

Players participating in either beta weekend can earn exclusive cosmetic rewards by completing in-game challenges and objectives. These rewards include rare skins and other cosmetic items, providing incentive for players to engage with the beta and help test the multiplayer systems before launch.
