Silver Bullet has announced Mr Trippy, a management simulation for PC that subverts the familiar ice cream truck premise. While players do sell legitimate ice cream on the surface, the core gameplay revolves around operating a hidden criminal enterprise distributing illegal drugs—specifically methamphetamine—to select customers.
The game features survival and expansion mechanics centered on avoiding law enforcement. Players manage a “Heat Meter” system to maintain their cover while scaling up distribution operations across new neighborhoods. As the illegal business grows, players can upgrade and customize their truck, expand territory, and develop distribution networks. Money laundering mechanics require players to conceal illicit profits through legitimate local channels to avoid detection.
Mr Trippy employs the dual-business concept as satirical commentary on legitimate versus criminal economies, with the ice cream truck serving as visual metaphor for operational duality. The simulation emphasizes risk management and strategic decision-making around operational security while growing an underground enterprise.
