Xbox Game Pass Reveals First Wave Of August 2026 Games
Xbox Game Pass has revealed its first wave of August 2026 additions, with new titles becoming available starting today and throughout the month. The service is rolling out two waves of games for August, maintaining its typical monthly update schedule.
The initial batch launched on August 5 includes remastered classic shooters Heretic and Hexen, which have been updated with new features and enhancements for modern systems. Game Freak’s action-RPG Beast of Reincarnation, set in a post-apocalyptic world, also launched as a day-one release on the service.
Starting August 6, the second wave introduces 10 new additions to Xbox Game Pass through August 18, with the majority being Game Pass Premium exclusive titles. Notable inclusions for this period are Monsters Are Coming (Premium exclusive), the return of PowerWash Simulator, and early access launches for other titles. Additional games confirmed include Date Everything, Cricket 26, and the Gears of War E-Day beta.
