Fields Of Mistria Exits Beta With A Big Rideable Chicken
Fields of Mistria has officially launched version 1.0, exiting early access after exactly two years of development by NPC Studio. The update delivers the game’s long-awaited conclusion, completing the main narrative and introducing marriage as a new gameplay feature for the first time.
Key additions in 1.0 include the resolution of previously incomplete quests—The Town Repair and The Museum—plus two new questlines: Saturday Market Plaza and Repair the Bell Tower. The update expands romantic progression by raising the NPC Heart Level Cap from 4 to 10, enabling 10-heart cutscenes with datable characters. A whimsical addition allows players to ride a chicken mount around town.
The Town Renown Cap has been increased to 100, extending long-term progression goals. Fields of Mistria draws from ’90s anime and magical girl aesthetics, with reviewers positioning it as a significant farming sim entry comparable to Stardew Valley. The game emphasizes artwork, character relationships, and romantic elements alongside traditional farm simulation mechanics. The 1.0 launch brings the title to full feature-completion with narrative resolution and marriage mechanics now available to players.
