Nintendo Reveals Its Playable Gamescom Line-Up
Nintendo of Europe has announced the playable game lineup for Gamescom 2026, the annual gaming conference taking place August 26-30 in Cologne, Germany. The showcase will prominently feature Nintendo Switch Sports Resort, continuing its journey after making its playable debut at San Diego’s Comic-Con in the previous month.
Notably, the lineup also includes Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, marking the first entry in Activision’s long-running first-person shooter franchise to release on Nintendo Switch 2. This release is part of a binding contract between Nintendo and Microsoft established following Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard, ensuring that Call of Duty games continue to reach Nintendo’s platform ecosystem.
