GTA 5 Actor Auditioned for 60 Roles in GTA 6, But Heard Nothing from Rockstar
Robert Bogue, known for playing FIB agent Steve Haines in Grand Theft Auto 5, has revealed his disappointment with Rockstar Games after auditioning for over 60 roles in GTA 6 without success. The actor, who had a positive experience working on GTA 5, expressed his frustration in an Instagram DM interview, stating he would have accepted any role—large or small—just to be part of the highly anticipated sequel.
Despite Rockstar’s notorious secrecy surrounding GTA 6, Bogue was candid about his casting experience. He emphasized how much he wanted to participate in the project and his willingness to take on any available part. However, none of his 60+ auditions resulted in a role, leaving him disappointed with the studio.
The revelation highlights the competitive nature of casting for major video game projects and the extensive audition process even for seasoned actors with previous AAA experience.
