25 years after Harry Potter, Lego is celebrating with a 3,500-piece set
Harry Potter marked its 25th anniversary in 2024, with the original Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone published in 1997 and adapted into film in 2001. To celebrate the milestone, Lego is releasing a commemorative set featuring the Ministry of Magic, containing nearly 3,500 pieces and 14 minifigures. The detailed set provides a cross-section view of the underground London headquarters that Harry, Hermione, and Ron visit in the later books and films. The upper level depicts the street-level entrance, complete with a tube station entrance and the iconic red telephone booth required to access the secret Ministry below. This release represents Lego’s partnership with the Harry Potter franchise to commemorate a quarter-century of cultural impact since the original book’s debut and more than two decades since the film series began.
