Moonlighter 2 Launches In September, Physical Confirmed For November
Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault is leaving early access on September 2, 2026, marking the full 1.0 release of the sequel to the cult-favorite indie action-RPG series. Developed by Digital Sun and published by 11 Bit Studios, the game will launch simultaneously across multiple platforms including Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam, Xbox Game Pass, and PC Game Pass.
The dungeon-crawling action-RPG with roguelite elements has been available in early access since November 2025. To celebrate the full launch, Digital Sun and 11 Bit Studios are offering the original Moonlighter game for free on Steam from August 5-9, 2026, available to keep permanently.
A physical release has been confirmed for November 13, 2026, through Silver Lining for Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, and PC. Two editions will be available: a Standard Edition priced at €49.99 and a Collector’s Edition at €79.99, which includes additional items.
