Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 Confirmed For Switch 2, Launching Autumn
Cold Iron Studios and Daybreak Game Company have announced that Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 will release on Nintendo Switch 2 this autumn. The title launches on other platforms on August 25, 2026, with the Switch 2 version following later in the year.
The sequel continues the co-operative alien-hunting gameplay of the 2021 original, which featured squad-based combat against waves of Xenomorphs. The new installment expands the playable squad from three to four members, allowing for expanded cooperative play with either player-controlled or AI companions across multiple campaign levels.
