All Fortnite Gem Sprites & How to Get Them
Fortnite continues to expand its seasonal content as the current season approaches its conclusion, with Epic Games introducing Gem Sprites as a new rare collectible variant. The Gem Sprites represent the latest iteration of Fortnite’s sprite collection, which the developer has emphasized throughout the season. Players can currently collect eight distinct Gem Sprites by locating them across the game world.
The final roster reflects a last-minute adjustment by Epic Games, which reduced the planned number of available Gem Sprites. A previously teased Gem Punk Sprite variant was revealed ahead of launch but ultimately excluded from the initial release set. The decision to pare back the collection suggests Epic may be strategically pacing these collectible releases or reserving additional variants for future updates.
Gem Sprites continue Fortnite’s live-service tradition of offering cosmetic and collectible pursuits designed to extend seasonal engagement. By incorporating sprite hunting mechanics into end-of-season content, Epic Games maintains player incentives during the wind-down period before the next seasonal rotation. The focus on sprite variants demonstrates the developer’s ongoing effort to sustain engagement through discoverable, collectible content alongside traditional battle pass progression.
