GTA 6 Has Not Been Delayed, Still On Track For Its November Launch

Grand Theft Auto 6 remains on schedule for its highly anticipated November 19 launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, as confirmed by Take-Two Interactive during the company’s first quarter earnings call on August 7, 2026.

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick stated during the briefing that “global excitement for the launch of Grand Theft Auto 6 continues to build,” citing the company’s strong financial performance and positive outlook surrounding the release. The publisher emphasized that an upcoming “GTA 6: An Extended Look” presentation will further cultivate consumer passion and anticipation ahead of launch.
