LEGO Harry Potter Celebrates 25 Years With Ministry of Magic Set, and The First-Ever Minifigure of a Specific Character
LEGO is marking 25 years of its Harry Potter product line with the release of an elaborate Ministry of Magic set. The 3,491-piece model, standing 51 centimeters tall, will launch for LEGO Insiders on August 29, followed by wider availability on September 1 to coincide with the franchise’s annual Back to Hogwarts Day celebration.
The three-tiered set recreates multiple iconic locations from the Harry Potter series. The top level features the Leaky Cauldron pub and the distinctive red telephone box that provides entry to the Ministry’s upper levels. The middle section displays the Ministry’s expansive multi-story offices and includes a miniature recreation of the building’s famous golden fountain. The lower tier incorporates additional details such as Umbridge’s office and a Floo toilet, demonstrating the set’s attention to detail across multiple locations from the source material.
A significant milestone for collectors is the inclusion of the first-ever Arabella Figg minifigure, adding a new character to the LEGO Harry Potter lineup. The set represents a substantial investment for fans and collectors of both LEGO and Harry Potter memorabilia, combining the precision building experience LEGO is known for with beloved elements from the wizarding world.
