Evercade Announces New DOOM Collection Cartridge
The Evercade DOOM Collection cartridge brings the classic DOOM franchise to the retro gaming platform, featuring the original two DOOM games along with six map packs for a total of eight campaigns. The collection marks Evercade’s latest major release for 2026 and includes exclusive gameplay modifiers not found in other versions of the games. Evercade has ported the titles from their original PC versions to provide an optimized native experience on the Evercade cartridge system. The collection also features enhanced multiplayer capabilities alongside these exclusive modifiers. Accompanying the cartridge release is a limited-edition Evercade Nexus console variant. The announcement demonstrates Evercade’s continued commitment to bringing significant gaming franchises to its cartridge-based retro gaming ecosystem, building on the company’s strategy of offering curated collections of classic games with additional features and content tailored to their platform.
