Genshin Impact is preparing for the release of patch 7.0, which will introduce the icy region of Snezhnaya and a new batch of characters from the new area. The update will require scheduled server maintenance on Tuesday, August 11 or Wednesday, August 12, depending on the player’s time zone.
Maintenance will begin at 3 p.m. PDT for North American west coast players, 6 p.m. EDT for east coast players, and 7 p.m. BRT for Brazilian players. The servers will be unavailable for approximately five hours during this period. Players in other time zones will experience maintenance at corresponding local times.
Version 7.0 represents a significant expansion for the live-service RPG, marking the introduction of Snezhnaya, a major new region in the game world.
