A New Mario Party Clone Just Arrived On Xbox, And It’s Surprisingly Not Bad
A new party game called “Grizzy & The Lemmings: Crazy Party” has launched on Xbox, offering players an alternative to Nintendo’s Mario Party franchise. Based on the children’s television series, the game delivers surprising quality despite its unconventional title and animated source material. The title fills a notable gap in the Xbox library, as party games comparable to Mario Party have historically been scarce on Microsoft’s platform.
The reviewer notes that while Xbox players have faced limited options in this genre, recent releases like LEGO Party have begun to address the shortage. “Grizzy & The Lemmings: Crazy Party” appears to be another solid addition to the platform’s party game offerings. The game’s viability is particularly noteworthy given the challenge of competing with established franchise entries like “Super Mario Party Jamboree” on Nintendo Switch, which remains the genre’s market leader.
For Xbox players seeking multiplayer party experiences comparable to Mario Party’s gameplay, this new release provides an accessible and entertaining option. The game demonstrates that quality party experiences aren’t exclusive to Nintendo’s ecosystem, even when based on licensed intellectual property from children’s media.
