DevGAMM Awards: Watch the 3rd Annual Show Honoring Indie Games on IGN This November
The 3rd annual DevGAMM Awards is set to honor indie games with a livestream event in November. IGN will broadcast the ceremony live on November 18 from Lisbon, Portugal, streaming on IGN.com and YouTube. The awards celebrate outstanding games and the teams that created them, recognizing excellence across the indie gaming landscape.
The event has grown significantly since its inception, with submissions exceeding 1,000 games over the past two years. Previous ceremonies have recognized nearly 30 award-winning titles, including notable indie successes like Manor Lords, Cairn, Keep Driving, Drop Duchy, and Yes, Your Grace: Snowfall.
This year’s ceremony introduces four new award categories to recognize additional areas of achievement in indie game development: Best Small Team Game, Best Game in Early Development, Meaningful Game, and DevGAMM Choice. These additions bring the total number of categories to 13, expanding the scope of recognition across different types of indie game projects and teams.
The DevGAMM Awards represent a significant platform for indie developers to gain recognition and visibility within the gaming industry. By celebrating small teams and innovative projects, the awards highlight the diversity and creativity of the indie gaming scene, which continues to produce commercially successful and critically acclaimed titles alongside mainstream releases.
