GamesAid appoints six new trustees as it raises £82,000 in funding during 2025/26

GamesAid has appointed six new trustees to its board and announced £82,000 in funding raised during the 2025/26 financial year to support four charities.

The reorganization includes three key leadership changes: Dom Shaw, founder of Sussex Games, takes on the role of vice chair. Catherine Anderson, secretary at Green Man Gaming, becomes secretary, while Amelia Suchy, co-founder and director of Mom to Mum, assumes the position of treasurer. Anderson and Suchy replace Mark Washbrook, head of studio at Beat Games, and Gavin Smith, senior commercial manager at Arbuthnot Latham, who previously held the secretary and treasurer positions respectively.

Additional new trustees appointed to the board include Greg Weller, head of gaming partnerships at Generation Media, and Jon Paterson from Barclays. The expanded governance structure reflects GamesAid’s efforts to strengthen connections across the gaming industry and financial sectors as it continues its charitable work.
