Marvel Tōkon’s dire PC performance improved massively by new patch, drastically reducing CPU use and stutters

Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, which launched last week with significant PC performance issues, received a patch that dramatically improves performance on desktop platforms. The game experienced a notable technical disparity between console and PC versions, with players reporting persistent problems including micro-stutters, excessive CPU usage, and frame-rate drops that hampered the gaming experience.

The patch, detailed in the official Marvel Tōkon Discord server and announced via social media channels, directly addresses these widespread complaints. According to the detailed patch notes, the performance issues were caused by “periodic audio processing” and other unnecessary system processes that were unnecessarily taxing the CPU and causing instability.

The swift update represents a significant turnaround for the game on PC, demonstrating the development team’s commitment to resolving the technical barriers that affected players since launch. Console players, by contrast, had not experienced similar performance problems.
