Big Walk review

Big Walk is an exclusively cooperative puzzle game developed by House House and published by Panic. It launched on August 4, 2026, for $20 USD. The game centers on collaborative puzzle-solving on an island setting, emphasizing player communication and teamwork as core mechanics.

According to PC Gamer’s review, Big Walk features innovative non-verbal communication systems. Players are separated by soundproof barriers and must work together to solve puzzles, unable to see each other directly. This design forces creative collaboration—in one sequence described, a player uses frantic arm gestures to signal information to teammates who must interpret and relay those signals to other players separated by their own barriers. Success requires observation, interpretation, and coordinated action based on gestural communication.

The game is available on PC and has earned Steam Deck Verification status. PC Gamer tested the title on an Intel i7 9700K paired with an RTX 4070 Ti and 16GB of RAM. As a cooperative-only experience, Big Walk prioritizes teamwork and shared problem-solving, requiring multiple players to progress through its puzzle challenges.
