Disney Confirms D23 Kingdom Hearts Panel Details, and Given Who’s on It, We’re Expecting Kingdom Hearts 4 News
Disney has confirmed details for its “Deep Dive into Kingdom Hearts” panel at D23, scheduled for August 15, 2026 at 4:30 PM PT / 7:30 PM EDT. The livestream will be available on the official Kingdom Hearts YouTube channel, though Square Enix confirms the stream will not be made available as video-on-demand afterward—viewers must tune in live.
The panel will feature a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the Kingdom Hearts games, bringing together key figures including Square Enix’s Tai Yasue (believed to be co-director), Disney & Pixar Games’ Nana Gadd, and voice actors Haley Joel Osment (Sora), David Gallagher (Riku), and Renée Johnson (Disney character voices). The star-studded lineup has sparked fan anticipation for official Kingdom Hearts 4 announcements and updates, following the game’s initial reveal in April 2022 and a teaser trailer earlier this year. A surprise Kingdom Hearts 4 trailer also appeared during a Nintendo Direct livestream two months ago. Disney is building toward the franchise’s 25th anniversary celebration in 2027, with this panel serving as an early kick-off to the festivities.
