How Long Is Mortal Shell 2? Game Length & Total Hours
Mortal Shell 2’s expected playtime has been officially revealed by developers, who estimate a full playthrough will require approximately 30-40 hours to complete. This represents a substantial increase compared to the original Mortal Shell, which required roughly 13 hours to complete when it launched six years ago.
The expanded completion time reflects Mortal Shell 2’s significantly enhanced scope and scale. The sequel features considerably more dungeons, a substantially larger world to explore, and an expanded variety of weapons and Shells for players to experiment with throughout their journey. These additions are designed to create a more content-rich and immersive experience than its predecessor.
For players evaluating whether to purchase the game, the projected 30-40 hour duration positions Mortal Shell 2 as a mid-to-long form adventure, offering considerable gameplay value for the investment. The developers’ official estimates provide clear and transparent expectations for players considering committing time and money to the sequel, allowing potential buyers to make informed purchasing decisions based on their available gaming time.
