Arc Raiders generates $114.9m during Nexon’s Q2, sells an additional 800,000 units
Nexon’s Q2 2026 financial results exceeded expectations, with the company reporting strong performance across its portfolio. Arc Raiders, developed by Embark Studios, continued its commercial success, generating $114.9 million in revenue during the quarter and selling an additional 800,000 units. The extraction shooter has emerged as a significant performer for Nexon’s lineup, joining the company’s long-standing MapleStory franchise as a key revenue driver.
Financially, Nexon reported total revenue of ¥121.1 billion ($760.8 million), representing a 2% increase year-over-year. Operating income reached ¥31.3 billion ($196.6 million), though this represented a 17% decline from the previous quarter. However, net income surged 77% to ¥29.6 billion ($185.9 million), largely due to improved foreign exchange outcomes compared to Q2 2025, when the company had recorded a ¥17.5 billion ($109.9 million) FX loss.
The strong showing from Arc Raiders underscores the continued viability of live-service extraction shooters in the market. Embark Studios’ title has maintained player engagement and monetisation throughout the quarter, contributing meaningfully to Nexon’s overall profitability. The results highlight Nexon’s diversified portfolio strategy—balancing established franchises like MapleStory with newer live-service titles—continuing to generate substantial returns for the publisher.
