Keychron creates giant 100-key macro pad, with mechanical switches and 8K polling

Keychron has launched the C100, a 100-key macro pad designed for gaming and productivity enthusiasts. The device features a 10x10 grid layout with each key using Keychron’s mechanical Apex switches. Supporting polling rates up to 8KHz, the C100 offers responsive performance for gaming and macro recording tasks. The pad is programmable through the open-source QMK standard as well as Keychron’s own Launcher web application, giving users extensive customization options.

Priced at $65, the C100 is positioned as a more affordable alternative to premium gaming peripherals, undercutting many competitors in the macro pad segment. The launch appears to respond to the ongoing peripherals arms race, following coverage of Razer’s Naga V3 Pro gaming mouse, which features 23 programmable buttons. The C100 significantly exceeds that button count with its 100-key layout, targeting users who require extensive macro functionality for competitive gaming, MMOs, or productivity workflows. With mechanical switches and high polling rate support, the device aims to deliver both tactile feedback and low-latency performance comparable to premium gaming keyboards.
