Pokémon Go Nickit Community Day event guide
Pokémon Go’s Nickit Community Day event is scheduled to take place on Sunday, August 16, from 2-5 p.m. in players’ local time zones. During this three-hour window, the dark-type fox Pokémon Nickit will spawn with increased frequency across all locations, giving players a concentrated opportunity to catch and collect the species.
The event features an enhanced shiny encounter rate for Nickit. According to research from The Silph Road, Community Day events typically offer shiny rates of approximately 1 in 24 encounters, meaning dedicated players should be able to encounter multiple shiny variants throughout the event duration if they play consistently.
To optimize their experience, players with limited time or resources can use Incense items to attract Pokémon, allowing them to quickly engage with spawns without depleting their Poké Ball supplies as rapidly. Pokémon Go typically offers additional event bonuses during Community Days, though the full details of other perks available during this specific event were not detailed in the provided excerpt.
