Guide: Gamescom 2026 Opening Night Live: Time, Date & How To Watch
Gamescom 2026 Opening Night Live is an upcoming showcase event hosted by veteran gaming industry presenter Geoff Keighley. The event serves as the opening presentation for Gamescom, one of the world’s largest gaming industry expos held annually in Germany.
This marks the second annual Opening Night Live showcase, having become an established fixture in the gaming calendar. Keighley hosts this event as part of his annual showcase slate, which also includes Summer Game Fest held earlier in the year, with The Game Awards scheduled for later in the calendar year. The Opening Night Live event is strategically positioned between these two major showcases.
Opening Night Live is expected to feature gaming news, announcements, and reveals from major publishers and developers. The showcase provides a significant platform for industry announcements and debuts of upcoming projects and games. Gaming outlets have prepared comprehensive guides to help viewers find the details they need to watch the presentation, including broadcast times and viewing information across various platforms.
