Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy Release Date & Launch Times
Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy will launch on August 27, 2026, marking the franchise’s return four years after A Plague Tale: Requiem.
The prequel is set 15 years before the events of Requiem and diverges from the series’ established storyline by shifting focus away from original protagonists Amicia and Hugo. Instead, players will take control of Sophia, a young and fierce plunderer. Sophia embarks on an expedition to Minotaur Island, where players must navigate deadly trials, solve environmental puzzles, and engage in combat against a pursuing army. The game is positioned to reshape the franchise’s direction while remaining grounded in the established A Plague Tale universe.
After four years since the last mainline entry, Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy aims to refresh the series for longtime fans and new players alike, introducing fresh gameplay elements and storytelling approaches to the beloved narrative-driven adventure franchise.
