CoD: Modern Warfare 4 Beta Preload And PC Spec Requirements

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4’s first beta weekend begins August 21 and is available to players who preorder the game on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. This comprehensive beta marks the series’ return to the Modern Warfare formula after two years of Black Ops titles, featuring campaign, multiplayer, and Warzone content.

The beta’s campaign mission is set in Korea, depicting a conflict between North and South Korea, offering a fresh setting for the franchise. PC players must note specific security requirements: TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot must be enabled to play the beta online, which may require manual configuration on some systems.

Minimum PC specifications include Windows 10 64-bit, an AMD Ryzen 5 1600 or Intel Core i5-8400 processor, 12GB of RAM, and an AMD Radeon RX 470 graphics card. Players can preload the beta ahead of launch to be ready when it goes live, and participation will unlock exclusive rewards in the full game. This beta provides players their first hands-on opportunity to evaluate gameplay changes compared to recent Black Ops releases.
