I tried GeForce NOW on Firefox as NVIDIA and Mozilla team up for 1440p at 120 FPS — Yeah, it’s still the best for cloud gaming.

NVIDIA has expanded GeForce NOW’s browser compatibility by adding official support for Mozilla Firefox. The cloud gaming service, which allows players to stream PC games from their existing libraries, can now be accessed through Firefox at play.geforcenow.com by users with paid subscriptions.

The partnership enables Firefox users to play supported titles from Steam, PC Game Pass, GOG, Epic Games Store, and Ubisoft Connect with performance reaching up to 1440p resolution at 120 frames per second. According to Andrew Fear, NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW Director, Firefox “earned its place on our list of supported browsers by delivering the first-class experience GeForce NOW players expect.”

GeForce NOW operates on a tiered pricing model. The free ad-supported Basic Rig tier limits sessions to one hour at 1080p resolution. Paid subscribers can access the Performance tier for six-hour sessions at up to 1440p, or the Ultimate tier offering eight-hour sessions at up to 5K resolution. This addition reflects NVIDIA’s continued efforts to expand platform accessibility and integrate with major web browsers, making cloud gaming more accessible to a wider audience through their preferred browser.
