New LEGO Batman DLC Trailer to Debut on IGN’s gamescom Livestream
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight’s upcoming Mayhem Collection DLC will receive its first major public reveal through an exclusive trailer premiere on IGN’s gamescom Studio livestream on Wednesday, August 26. While the DLC content won’t launch for another month, the trailer debut offers fans an early look at what’s coming to the game.
Developed by TT Games and published by Warner Bros. Games, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight launched in May to positive reception. The game combines a robust open-world Gotham setting with the series’ signature LEGO-style slapstick humor, delivering what reviewers described as “a fantastic plastic parody of Batman’s greatest hits.”
The Mayhem Collection DLC is scheduled to release on September 18. Players who purchased the game’s Deluxe Edition will receive the DLC at no additional cost as part of their edition’s benefits. The exclusive gamescom trailer premiere signals an opportunity for the developer to highlight new characters, missions, or storylines tied to Batman’s rogues gallery ahead of the formal launch.
