Ahri Joining Fortnite is Another Hint That K/DA Might Be Back

Leakers have revealed that Ahri, the popular League of Legends champion, is set to join Fortnite as a skin in the game’s new Chapter 7 Season 4 update titled “Override.” The addition includes a Mythic weapon exclusive to the character that fires homing orbs and grants Siphon and Speed Dash abilities. This crossover is generating speculation in the gaming community about what it might mean for League of Legends’ future content. Earlier reports from leakers suggested that K/DA, the in-game K-pop group from League of Legends, could be making a return in the 2026 Season 3. The selection of Ahri for Fortnite’s Gaming Legends season is viewed by some as a potential indicator that K/DA might indeed be returning, as Ahri has been a key character associated with the group.

Fortnite’s new season features over 20 “Gaming Legends” with themed content from popular gaming franchises, including Sonic the Hedgehog, Mega Man, and Pac-Man. The crossover initiative demonstrates Epic Games’ continued strategy of integrating major gaming IP into its live-service platform to drive engagement and expand its appeal beyond its core battle royale mechanics.
