PC Gamers Can Get 2 Great Games Completely Free of Charge From Epic for a Limited Time
Epic Games Store is offering two free PC games this week to eligible users. The first title is Cardpocalypse, a card-battler RPG and choice-driven adventure designed with ’90s nostalgia in mind. The game targets players who grew up with card games like Yu-Gi-Oh! and properties like South Park.
In Cardpocalypse, the story begins when a beloved card game becomes banned, prompting players to take it underground. The twist: mutants from the game begin mysteriously appearing in the real world. Players must construct powerful decks and engage in strategic battles to defeat these creatures. Beyond the main campaign, the game features Gauntlet Mode, a roguelike experience where each run, deck, and battle presents unique challenges and variations.
The second free title is a cosmetic bundle for a popular sandbox MMORPG, though specific details about that offering are not provided in the available information. This limited-time promotion is part of Epic Games Store’s ongoing strategy to attract and retain PC gamers through complimentary game offerings.
