Inner Pocket Publishing is “building a quiet corner for people who love thoughtful single-player games”
Inner Pocket Publishing, a new indie label founded by industry veterans, is positioning itself as a curator of thoughtful single-player gaming experiences. The company was established by a team including Artem Oleinik (formerly Gaijin Entertainment) as CEO, Yaroslav Kadyshev (previously Critical Reflex) as head of marketing, and Nozomu Games co-founders Ivan Bushmin and Eva Manuilovich serving as head of publishing and art director respectively.
The label’s approach contrasts with typical indie publishing models, prioritizing a highly selective catalogue aligned with specific player interests rather than adopting a generalist “whatever will sell” strategy. This curated philosophy aims to establish what the team describes as “a quiet corner for people who love thoughtful single-player games.”
Inner Pocket’s first project is Burn With Me, developed in partnership with Nozomu Games. The game is described as an occult deck-burner experience. The new publisher represents a consolidation of expertise from multiple established indie development studios and previous industry roles, suggesting a focus on quality over quantity in its release slate.
