Mattel Brick Shop Unveils Lifesize Original Xbox With 3,509 Pieces & Five Key Features
Mattel Brick Shop has unveiled a collector’s building set featuring a 1:1 scale replica of the original Xbox console from 2001. The set contains 3,509 pieces and includes a replica of the iconic “Duke” controller, priced at approximately $324–$330 USD. The buildable console features interactive lights and sounds that activate during assembly, enhancing the construction experience.
Hidden within the set are detailed dioramas featuring nostalgic scenes from classic Xbox games, including The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and Psychonauts, adding collectible value for gaming enthusiasts. This release celebrates Xbox’s 25th anniversary, marking a quarter-century since the original console’s 2001 launch. Mattel Brick Shop previously released a 3:4 scale Xbox 360 building set through its MEGA brand in 2023.
The product positions itself as both an immersive building experience and a striking display piece, combining nostalgic gaming history with construction toy appeal. Currently available for purchase at major retailers including Best Buy and Amazon, the comprehensive piece count and interactive features justify the premium price point for dedicated Xbox fans and building enthusiasts.
