Post-Apocalyptic Survival RPG ‘Scavland’ Hits Early Access on September 4
NoShadow’s post-apocalyptic survival RPG Scavland will enter early access on Steam on September 4, following six years of development. The top-down, pixel-art survival shooter draws significant inspiration from celebrated titles including STALKER, Escape from Tarkov, Tibia, and Metro, positioning itself as a love letter to fans of post-apocalyptic gaming experiences.
During its extended development cycle, the NoShadow team expanded considerably, with the development group more than quadrupling in size as the project’s scope grew. This expansion has enabled the studio to increase the game’s ambitions and potential, creating what the developers describe as a charming but exceedingly lethal wasteland experience.
Scavland challenges players to survive in an unforgiving post-apocalyptic environment with a top-down perspective and distinctive pixel-art visuals. The game will launch exclusively on Steam’s early access program, giving players the opportunity to experience the title during active development while the team refines gameplay mechanics and content based on community feedback and player behavior.
