Avengers: Endgame Encore Runtime Revealed, Seemingly Contains Just 4 Minutes of Extra Footage

Marvel is re-releasing Avengers: Endgame as Avengers: Endgame Encore in theaters this September ahead of the December release of Avengers: Doomsday. According to AMC Theatres listings, the re-release will have a total runtime of 185 minutes (3 hours and 5 minutes), making it the longest MCU film ever released theatrically.

The new runtime represents only four additional minutes compared to the original Endgame’s 181-minute length. The four minutes of extra footage was shot during the production of Avengers: Doomsday and is being added to tie the original film into the upcoming sequel. The re-release will not include IMAX screenings.
