The second season of Netflix’s Cyberpunk Edgerunners anime releases this year

Netflix’s Cyberpunk: Edgerunners will return for its highly anticipated second season on October 20th, 2026. The 10-episode run marks the continuation of the anime series developed in partnership with CD Projekt Red based on the video game Cyberpunk 2077.

The new season features a voice cast that includes veteran actors Clancy Brown (known for Highlander and Invincible), alongside Valeria Rodriguez, Kimoy Lee, and Nazeeh Tarsha. A newly released trailer showcases the full main voice cast for the first time and introduces four new Night City residents who will drive the narrative: Weak Kingsley, D, Roman Carax, and Talia Yang. The preview promises a story centered on themes of “revenge and redemption,” with narrative tension that will blur the lines between these concepts.

The trailer has already sparked community engagement, with an eagle-eyed fan earning praise from the show’s official social media accounts after spotting an extremely specific location from Cyberpunk 2077 embedded in the opening shots.
