Preview of the Final Championship Weekend of EWC 2026
The Esports World Cup 2026 reaches its climax this weekend with championship finals across Counter-Strike 2, Fortnite, CrossFire, and Trackmania. The tournament will crown multiple champions while determining the EWC 2026 Club Championship victor.
Two finals carry historic significance. Trackmania will crown its first-ever EWC champion, marking a milestone for the racing title in competitive esports. Fortnite will simultaneously determine the inaugural champion of its revamped Reload format, reflecting the game’s competitive evolution.
Counter-Strike 2’s finals have drawn particular attention due to surprising eliminations of major contenders. Hometown favorites Team Vitality and recent Major winners Team Falcons have both been eliminated, dramatically shifting expectations and opening opportunities for competing teams to claim the prestigious title.
The championship finals carry substantial weight for Club Championship standings, with each tournament’s outcome significantly impacting overall team rankings. The CrossFire finals exemplify these high stakes, as Team Falcons currently leads the club standings with AG AL trailing by just 300 points. This tight competition suggests the final weekend could substantially reshape the Club Championship landscape based on performance across all four titles.
